About Me

My photo
Julie
American history (see "California and the Civil War"), family history (see "A Family Tree Grows in Brooklyn...") and animals (see "La Vita Contadina") have been ongoing interests for the past 30 years or so. I inherited these interests from my father, who began encouraging my interest in animals when I was a toddler and my other interests once I started school and began a life-long love of reading (which I also think I got from him, though Mom was the one who actually taught me my early reading skills). Thanks, Dad!
